D4E's vision is to close the gap between disconnected voices in policy and the pressing need for communities to be prepared for a wide range of emergencies.

Our mission is to enhance the innate resilience of communities by equipping them with low-cost, learnable tools grounded in local knowledge and expertise, identifying opportunities for immediate action, and building strategic plans for future emergencies.
